Volunteer

Intonation Music Workshop is always looking for volunteers to get involved in a variety of areas including the classroom, stage, office, and more!  Teaching Volunteers                                               

Do you have musical experience, at least one free afternoon each week, and a desire to work with children in a dynamic group setting? If so, please consider becoming an IMW Teaching Volunteer for a challenging and truly rewarding experience. After an interview, classroom visit, and background check, each one of our teaching volunteers is placed with a student band at one of our school or park district sites to assist our instructor teams in instrument instruction and band mentorship. This opportunity requires availability for 3 hours one afternoon per week for a minimum of 12 weeks. Interested? Performance Volunteers

IMW puts on 35 concerts each year and we need help with stage managing and set-up, hair & make-up, manning our merch and marketing booths, photo & video, and more! Its always an infectiously fun and lively atmosphere and you can commit to one show at a time, so get in touch and get involved!

Office Opportunities

Volunteer and Internship opportunities abound at IMW! As a small arts organization, we all wear a lot of hats around here… very cool and colorful hats too. Do you like hats? If so, and you have some time to give on a regular basis, we can use your help in areas ranging from general admin to donor management to social media.

Fundraising Events

Join one of our fundraising committees and get in on short and long term planning for IMW events ranging from one-off benefits on up to our Annual Gala. Auction planning, host committee, food and beverage, operations, and marketing/collateral are just a few of the categories we have in mind . If planning is just not your thing, we always can always use a hand on-site/day-of.

In-Kind Services

If you have expertise in a particular area and would be willing to offer your services to IMW on a pro-bono basis, we want to talk with you! Accounting, HR, Legal, Graphic Design, Marketing, Development, and Grantwriting are just a few areas that come to mind.
